The New England Revolution have no new inclusions on their injury report ahead of Tuesday's U.S. Open Cup Semifinal against the Chicago Fire.
The latest report lists Femi-Hollinger Janzen (right adductor strain) and Xavier Kouassi (right knee surgery) as out and Juan Agudelo (right knee sprain) as questionable. Donnie Smith (right hamstring strain) has recently been upgraded, as he's currently categorized as questionable.
In preparation for this Tuesday's match, head coach Jay Heaps opted to rest a few players for Saturday's league game against Toronto FC. Je-Vaughn Watson and Teal Bunbury made second-half appearances in Canada, while Andrew Farrell and Scott Caldwell remained on the bench. This could prove to be beneficial on Tuesday.
"I think a lot of the guys are pretty fresh," Farrell explained. "[Heaps] rested a couple of us [on Saturday]. Everybody is ready to go no matter if you played 90 on Saturday. I think a lot of the guys want to take this step with the club to get to another final and hopefully win that. It’s an important game for us."
