There's a big addition to the most recent New England Revolution injury report as Jose Goncalves (right hamstring strain) is listed as questionable.
The stalwart defender, who has started 22 games this season, departed early from last weekend's match against Columbus Crew SC. After being replaced by Zachary Herivaux, Goncalves went directly to the locker room. His status for Wednesday is currently unknown.
Je-Vaughn Watson (right groin strain) finds himself in a similar situation as he's also listed as questionable. Watson missed the Crew SC game.
The Revs do know that they will be without Xavier Kouassi (right knee surgery), Jordan McCrary (right groin strain), and London Woodberry (suspended for yellow card accumulation).
One piece of good news for Revs fans is that Femi Hollinger-Janzen is no longer on the injury report. The rookie has two goals and one assist this season.
Fortunately for the Revolution, the San Jose Earthquakes are dealing with their own set of injuries. Marc Pelosi (left knee), Mark Sherrod (left knee), Bryan Meredith (abdominal strain), Clarence Goodson (back), and Fatai Alashe (right hamstring) are out while Simon Dawkins (left knee) is questionable.
