In what has become an annual tradition, the New England Revolution will host a pair of bobblehead nights. The first of which will happen when the Revs host the Chicago Fire towards the end of July.
The announcement means that Fagundez will be the first Revolution player to get a second bobblehead since the yearly promotion was introduced in 2012. The 21-year-old midfielder was first immortalized in 2012 as part of the inaugural class that featured collectible versions of Shalrie Joseph, Matt Reis, and Benny Feilhaber.
Several current Revs players have also been made into bobbleheads. Andrew Farrell, Kelyn Rowe, Lee Nguyen, and Jose Goncalves have all received the honor, as well as head coach Jay Heaps and mascot Slyde.
The Revs will host another bobblehead night on Aug. 20 for a player not yet announced.
