This Sunday could mark Charlie Davies' first appearance for the New England Revolution since April 27, as the striker is absent from the most recent injury report.
Davies has been a regular on the report since exiting with an injury from an early-season game against the Portland Timbers. Officially listed as "out" with a right adductor strain, Davies recently revealed that he was also fighting a rare form of cancer called tliposarcoma. Now fully healthy and cancer-free, Davies will be on the game-day 18 when the Revs face Orlando City SC on Sunday.
Another player who will be available for this weekend's clash is Gershon Koffie. The defensive midfielder is completely off the injury report one week after making his return from a knee injury.
It's not all good news for the Revolution, as Juan Agudelo (right knee sprain), Femi Hollinger-Janzen (right adductor strain), Xavier Kouassi (right knee surgery), and Donnie Smith (right hamstring strain) remain out.
The Lions are dealing with their own injury woes with Pedro Ribeiro, Rafael Ramos, Tommy Redding, and Harrison Heath all being classified as "out."
