The New England Revolution are looking to extend their winning streak to three straight when they face D.C. United on Saturday night.
The Revs are coming off a successful week in which they advanced in the US Open Cup and recorded their first regular-season road win of the year. The club will hope to build on their momentum when they visit D.C. United, who went winless and goalless in their last two outings.
A major part of the Revolution's recent success is the play of Lee Nguyen. The midfielder has collected an assist in four straight games while also scoring in three. During Nguyen's hot stretch, the Revs are 3-1-0. With D.C. United missing their starting center back pairing of Steve Birnbaum and Bobby Boswell, look for Nguyen to threaten Bill Hamid early and often.
