The New England Revolution will travel to face the New York Cosmos (NASL) in the Round of 16 of the 2016 US Open Cup. The game will be held at St. John's Unversity's Belson Stadium on June 29 with kickoff set for 7:30 PM ET.

The Revs advanced to the fifth round of the tournament after downing the Carolina RailHawks (NASL) 1-0 on Wednesday night. The game's only goal was scored in stoppage time by Homegrown product Zachary Herivaux.

The Cosmos also advanced via a 1-0 scoreline as they beat New York City FC for the second consecutive year. Danny Szetela was the difference-maker as he scored a header in the 88th minute.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the Revolution and Cosmos. If the Revs are victorious, they will host either the Philadelphia Union or New York Red Bulls at Harvard University in the next round of the Open Cup.
