Happy Mother's Day everyone! Thanks for following along with us during this nationally televised game between the New England Revolution and the Los Angeles Galaxy.
The Revs are 1-2-7 and on pace to break the league draws record while the Galaxy are 4-1-3 and right in the think of things in a loaded Western Conference. The Stub Hub Center has not been the kindest venue to the Revs, and with the Galaxy on a six game unbeaten streak and Gio dos Santos on a tear, any result today would likely be a positive one.
NE REVS LINEUP
Shuttleworth; Watson, Goncalves, Farrell, Woodberry; Koffie, Caldwell; Fagundez, Nguyen, Rowe; Agudelo
Bench: Knighton, Barnes, Sambinha, Kobayashi, Herivaux, Bunbury, Hollinger-Janzen
LA GALAXY LINEUP
Rowe; Rogers, Van Damme, Steres, DeLaGarza; Boateng, Larentowicz, Lletget; dos Santos, Keane, Zardes
Bench: Kennedy, Leonardo, Romney, Gerrard, Husidic, Garcia, Magee
The Revs are without arguably their top two left backs so right now it looks like Woodberry could be more a stay at home left back with Watson maintaining his two-way role on the right. Ex-Revs player Jeff Larentowicz makes his first start for LA while Steven Gerrard makes the bench for the first time in 2016.
