This week's injury report is much shorter for the New England Revolution as it only includes three players.
Longtime entry Charlie Charlie Davies remains out with a right adductor strain. He's joined by Gershon Koffie, who exited early last weekend with a right knee sprain. Koffie's injury leaves a big hole in the midfield, but the Revs are confident that they have the personnel to fill in.
"Gersh is a phenomenal player all around," Scott Caldwell said midweek. "It’s really tough to lose him, playing beside him, but we have players that will step up and are ready to go, ready to move on this week."
Darrius Barnes (right hip strain) is the only player listed as questionable, meaning that Jose Goncalves, Teal Bunbury, Chris Tierney, and Donnie Smith are now fully healthy.
For the Seattle Sounders, Oalex Anderson (left hamstring strain) and Roman Torres (left ACL tear) are out, while Chad Marshall (right hamstring strain) is questionable.
Both teams will be affected by Copa America call-ups, as the Revs will be without Je-Vaughn Watson (Jamaica) and Seattle will have to make do without Clint Dempsey (USA) and Nelson Valdez (Paraguay).
