It's official: Kei Kamara will don the number 13.
The New England Revolution's new Designated Player arrived in New England on Friday and immediately faced an important question: What number should he wear?
With his customary 23 already taken by Jose Goncalves, Kamara was forced to consider alternatives. He ultimately turned to the fans for advice.

The number 13 was last worn by Jermaine Jones, who's now a member of the Colorado Rapids. Jones signed with the Revs in 2014 and spent 18 months in Foxborough before his contract expired.
Kamara wasn't the only player to chose his number on Friday as fellow Designated Player Xavier Kouassi has selected to wear 12 on his Revs kit.
