Revolution v. Orlando City: Injury Reports

Charlie Davies won't play against Orlando City.

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

It's official, Charlie Davies won't play against Orlando City SC.

On Wednesday, Davies started his first game since March 12 . Unfortunately, the striker only lasted 35 minutes before leaving with an injury. The latest injury report has Davies listed as out with a right abductor strain. Head coach Jay Heaps, who called the ailment a "pretty big blow," will likely ask Juan Agudelo to play up top.

The Revs will also be without Steve Neumann (right knee sprain) and Chris Tierney (left hamstring strain). Neumann hasn't made an appearance in 2016 while Tierney's role was recently filled by Donnie Smith.

The status of Teal Bunbury (left hamstring strain) is currently unknown, as he's classified as questionable. The striker didn't make the 18 for the Revs' midweek clash against the Portland Timbers. If Bunbury is ready to play, he could be an option to start as the lone striker.

Orlando City only have one player on their injury report as Kaka is listed as day-to-day. The midfielder missed last week's game against the New York Red Bulls due to a minor injury.
