The latest injury report for the New England Revolution is out and there are several big names.
One of main inclusions is Chris Tierney, who exited early from last weekend's game against D.C. United. Head coach Jay Heaps wasn't optimistic about his left back playing on Wednesday and the foreboding has come to fruition. Tierney is listed as out with a left hamstring strain. He will likely be replaced by Je-Vaughn Watson, though Darrius Barnes and Donnie Smith are options.
The striker position could also require a change of personnel as Teal Bunbury is listed as questionable with a left hamstring strain. He's joined on the list by fellow attacker Juan Agudelo, who is still dealing with a right hamstring strain.
If Bunbury and Agudelo aren't ready to go, Charlie Davies could get the nod up top. Another option is stand-out rookie Femi Hollinger-Janzen, who has already made four appearances.
Steve Neumann (right knee) continues to be listed as out for the Revolution. He hasn't made an appearance in 2015.
The Portland Timbers are also dealing with a host of injuries. Adam Kwarasey (finger), Alvas Powell (wrist), and Andy Thoma (tibial plateau) are listed as out while Darren Mattocks (concussion), Darlington Nagbe (ankle), Liam Ridgewell (hamstring), and Ben Zemanski (groin) are questionable.
