Boston City FC was founded in April 2015 by real estate entrepreneur Renato Valentim. The club has since added several players, coaches, and front office members. One notable name is former New England Revolution General Manager Craig Tornberg, who will serve as acting managing director for first-year club.
Boston City FC are scheduled to host New York Cosmos B on May 1 at Malden Catholic High School. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. The club is currently selling season tickets for $80, a promotion that includes a scarf.
