Sean Okoli, we hardly knew ye.
After signing with the New England Revolution ahead of the 2015 season, Okoli offered 46 first-team minutes over five appearances. The striker spent the off-season training with Revolution affiliate Sporting CP (Portugal) but was waived on Feb. 9. He has since signed with FC Cincinnati (USL).
In three games with his new club, Okoli has shown that he might soon be back in MLS, especially if he continues to score world-class goals.
Last weekend, Okoli used a mixture of skill and speed to open his account for Cincinnati. This week, Okoli nailed a picturesque scissor kick.
Take a bow Sean Okoli. This is a terrific goal https://t.co/GBPH84AfBK

The goal, which came in the fifth minute of Saturday's game against the Charlotte Independence, was recognized nationally, as it captured the number four spot on SportsCenter's Top Ten list.
FC Cincinnati would go on to win 2-1 in their first-ever home game.
