How to Watch Revolution vs Dynamo: TV listing, live stream options, game details

The Revolution are back and we're here to talk about it.

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

The New England Revolution will play their first regular season game of 2016 on Sunday when they travel to face the Houston Dynamo.

One week removed from winning the Desert Diamond Cup, the Revs will face their first real test. In order to collect full points on opening weekend, Jay Heaps will need strong performances from center backs Andrew Farrell and Jose Goncalves, attacking mastermind Lee Nguyen, and bonafide poacher Charlie Davies.

Another player that will have a big role in Sunday's fixture is newcomer Gershon Koffie. The 24-year-old will be asked to play as a defensive midfielder, the role once filled by the now-departed Jermaine Jones. Can Koffie bring the grit the Revs need? Time will tell.

For the Dynamo, a win would be huge in their quest to return to the playoffs. Head coach Owen Coyle was busy this offseason as twelve players departed while eleven were added. The club does have a number of talented attackers, including Will Bruin, Erick Torres, and Giles Barnes.
