Je-Vaughn Watson has been called up by the Jamaican national team to play in a pair of World Cup Qualifying matches against Costa Rica.

Watson, 32, has earned 52 caps for the Reggae Boyz. He was a member of the team that finished second in the 2015 CONCACF Gold Cup, starting all but one match. He featured in the tournament finale, contributing 89 minutes as a midfielder.

Watson signed with the Revolution on Mar. 4 after three years with FC Dallas. Watson has made an immediate impact with his new club, taking ownership of the right back spot. The defender was an honorable mention for MLSSoccer.com's Team of the Week for his play on opening weekend.

Jamaica will face Costa Rica on Mar. 25 at National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica. The second game will take place on Mar. 29 at Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica in San Jose.

The Revs are scheduled to face New York City FC on Saturday, Mar. 26 before welcoming the New York Red Bulls on Friday, Apr. 1.
