It didn't take long for the New England Revolution to have a name on their injury report.
One week after being injury-free, Kelyn Rowe has been put on the report as questionable with a left hip contusion. The 24-year-old started as a defensive midfielder last weekend against the Houston Dynamo, but was removed at halftime. He was replaced by Scott Caldwell.
Rowe has since been spotted at training and could feature against D.C. United.
"It was some type of bruise to his midsection body and it was a strange one because in the locker room we felt like we could get a little more out of him," Heaps explained midweek. "Then once he got onto field ... it really tightened up. But he's definitely progressed and out here jogging and running. He's going to be an option for us on Saturday.
The Revs should consider themselves lucky to only have one player on their injury report as D.C. has several. Chris Korb (R knee ACL), Patrick Nyarko (concussion), Bill Hamid (R knee meniscus), and Markus Halsti (MCL sprain) are out while Fabián Espíndola (hamstring) is questionable.
