New England Revolution fans will have a daily reminder of the Patriots' loss to the Broncos as the team has changed their official Twitter avatar to the Colorado Rapids' logo.
The switch was part of a wager agreed upon by the two clubs. Initiated by the Rapids, the Revs ultimately agreed, putting their faith in Tom Brady and company. Unfortunately for them, the Pats lost 18-20, thus prompting a change.
The Revs have also altered their Twitter handle to explain the situation. It currently reads "#NERevs Lost a Bet."
The two teams exchanged tweets after the game. As you'd expect, the Rapids were a bit more upbeat.
