Revolution Players Earn Team of the Week Nods Galore

Not one, not two, not three, not four...

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Although against a weakened Orlando City team, the New England Revolution's 3-0 thrashing of the Lions this past weekend was impressive on all fronts.

With that in mind, MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week for Week 27 is ridden with Revolution stalwarts, the least of which is Lee Nguyen.

The 28-year-old midfielder's three assists has grabbed all the headlines, but Scott Caldwell, Diego Fagundez, and Chris Tierney all also earned recognition for their efforts.

The latter two tallied a goal apiece, while Caldwell asserted himself in the midfield and thrived without his partner in crime, Jermaine Jones.

Outside of the aforementioned quartet, Jay Heaps was named as coach of the Team of the Week. Through his leadership and guidance, the Revs are now unbeaten in their last six games and have won four straight.

As if those plaudits weren't enough, Andrew Farrell earned a spot on the Team of the Week's bench. He wasn't particularly threatened by Pedro Ribeiro or Bryan Rochez, but did enough in each foray forward to keep Bobby Shuttleworth's night as easy as can be.
