It looks like Jones will be returning to the US National Team.

What happens when Jermaine Jones goes live on Periscope? You get a glimpse of Jones' cultured side while taking an exclusive tour of the New England Revolution's locker room. You might also get some inside information.

On Thursday, the midfielder said that he will "be at the game, the Brazilian game and the Peru game" while answering a question posed via Periscope. Of course the US Men's National Team is slated to meet Peru on Sept. 4 before facing Brazil on Sept. 8.

Earlier this week, Jones reaffirmed his desire to return to the USMNT.

"I always say that when I’m fit and I play for my team that I want to go to the national team," Jones said. "If I’m fit and train and play for the New England Revolution then I want to go [to the national team]."

If Jones is in fact called up by head coach Jurgen Klinsmann, he could be in line for his first cap since Feb. 8, 2015. Jones was initially named to this summer's Gold Cup roster, but was forced to withdraw because of a sports hernia injury. The 33-year-old currently has 50 international caps.
