How To Watch - Gold Cup 2015 Final: Mexico vs. Jamaica

A spot in CONCACAF's Confederation's Cup playoffs against the United States awaits the winner of today's final from Philadelphia.

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

The United States had a disappointing semi-final exit in the 2015 Gold Cup and now await the winner between Mexico and Jamaica to see who will represent CONCACAF at the 2017 Confederation's Cup in Russia.

Jamaica defeated the United States 2-1 in the semi-finals earlier in the week and are set for their highest ever finish at the Gold Cup besting a third place finish way back in 1993. Mexico netted a late penalty in extra time to oust Jamaica and return to their first final since 2011 and a comeback 4-2 win over the USA.

An unconfirmed playoff date, rumored to be in October at the Rose Bowl for the Confederation's Cup playoff game will be between the winner of this match and the 2013 Gold Cup champions, the United States. It also appears that the playoff will be a single game instead of an aggregate two-legged series.
