How to Watch Revolution vs. NYC FC: TV Listing, Live Stream and More

Days after holding a players-only meeting, the New England Revolution are looking to end their slummer slump vs NYC FC.

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

Four months after giving New York City FC their first-ever win, the New England Revolution will be out for revenge when they host the expansion side at Gillette Stadium.

Things have certainly changed since the Revs faced NYC in their second game of the season. NYC, who previously lacked an identity, have now collected 14 points in their last seven games. Meanwhile, the Revolution, previously favorites to win the East, haven't won since Jun. 13.

That said, NYC will be missing some of their big-name players as Andrea Pirlo, Frank Lampard, and Mix Diskerud will be unavailable. The team will have David Villa, however, who has looked exceptional recently.

The Revs will have to be sharp against Villa and the rest of NYC FC if they want to claim victory. Last weekend, the New York Red Bulls set an MLS record when they scored a hat trick against the Revs in the opening 12 minutes. Revolution players have expressed disdain about this fact while promising that it won't happen again.
