The MLS All Star Fan XI was announced Monday night and as expected there were no representatives from the New England Revolution.

Ten of the players included on the list were voted in by supporters while the final name--the Seattle Sounders' Obafemi Martins--was selected because fans used him to score the most goals in FIFA.
While no current Revolution players were named, there were two from the past in Benny Feilhaber and Clint Dempsey. Feilhaber presently hones his skills with Sporting KC and is having a season that some believe is MVP worthy. Meanwhile, Dempsey is on a tear for both club and country.
Joining those included in the Fan XI are Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard, both picked by Commissioner Don Garber. These inclusions have ignited great debate as neither individual has played in an official MLS match yet. Several MLS players voiced their disdain for the picks on Twitter, including former Rev Michael Parkhurst.
Lampard and Gerrard must not have All Star bonuses. #Saving$$
