The odds are against the New England Revolution when they travel to Providence Park for a Saturday night affair against the Portland Timbers.
The Revs are winless in two trips to Portland and have yet to score a goal. In Sept. 2011, the Timbers downed the Revs 3-0. Two years later the two teams shared points in a scoreless draw.
If the Revolution want to reverse this trend, they will be doing so without Jermaine Jones and Juan Agudelo. Jones is listed as out on the most recent injury report while Agudelo is away in Europe with the US Men's National Team. Andy Dorman is likely to play in the stead of Jones while Diego Fagundez and Kelyn Rowe are options to start in Agudelo's spot.
The Timbers are a bit of an enigma with an overall record of 5-5-4. The team is on currently on its first winning streak of the year after recording consecutive wins against D.C. United and the Colorado Rapids.
