Juan Agudelo won't be with the New England Revolution for this weekend's game against the Portland Timbers. Don't worry though, he has a good reason as the striker will be in Europe with the US Men's National Team.
Called up for the second time since rejoining the Revolution, Agudelo was shown in a picture shared on Twitter by US Soccer with Gyasi Zardes, who could be his main competition for a starting spot.

The US Soccer Twitter account later posted an image that appears to reveal that Agudelo will be sporting the number 13 for upcoming friendlies against the Netherlands and Germany. Agudelo most recently wore 17 when playing against Mexico, a game in which he scored the capper of a classic dos-a-cero scoreline. Interestingly, the list shows that 17 is available. Perhaps Agudelo has chosen to wear 13 as a show of support for teammate Jermaine Jones, who will miss the friendlies due to injury.
