USOC: New England Revolution vs. Charlotte Independence: How To Watch, Livestream, Open Thread

It's the 4th Round of the 2015 US Open Cup and the Charlotte Independence are in town to try and take credit for anything involving the Revolutionary War. Rouse the Minute Men!

The New England Revolution are set to square off against the USL's Charlotte Independence in the 4th Round of the 2015 US Open Cup.

As they have often done in recent years during USOC, the Revolution have hosted games at smaller, grass field venues throughout New England. This year the match will take place at Harvard's Soldier Field in Boston, also the home field of the NWSL's Boston Breakers.

The Charlotte Independence are a first-year USL outfit, taking over the professional reigns of the North Carolina city after the Charlotte Eagles moved down to the PDL division. The Independence currently sit 9th in the USL's Eastern Conference with 12 points from a 3-4-3 record.

Their roster has more than a few New England ties, including former Revs players Bilal Duckett and Paolo DelPiccolo, former collegiate teammate at Louisville and best friend of Andrew Farrell, is looking forward to the matchup. Former UConn Husky midfielder Carlos Alvarez has featured on loan from the Colorado Rapids.
