It looks as though the New England Revolution will continue to face teams that are missing big contributors while staying relatively healthy themselves.
The most recent injury report for D.C. United, who will visit Gillette Stadium for a Saturday night game, lists Fabian Espindola (right quad), Luis Silva (left hamstring), and Nick DeLeon (right hamstring) as out. All three players have the potential to be starters when full healthy and in form. Jairo Arrieta and Miguel Aguilar will likely benefit from the absences.
Things are looking good from a Revolution perspective as Darrius Barnes (left knee surgery) is the only player that's hampered, according to the injury report. It's worth noting that the Revs are coming off a midweek fixture, but did choose to rest several starters, including Andrew Farrell, Chris Tierney, and Charlie Davies. Other big names, including Jermaine Jones, Lee Nguyen, and Juan Agudelo, played the entire game.
Additionally, the Revs will be without Andy Dorman for tonight's match as he will serve a one-game suspension for yellow card accumulation.
