Shuttleworth up for Save of the Week

New England Revolution goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth is up for Save of the Week.

The New England Revolution continue to earn positive attention from the media as Bobby Shuttleworth has been nominated for MLSSoccer.com's Save of the Week for week five.

The netminder made five saves against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday but it was his left-handed stop on Dillon Powers that earned recognition. Powers was put in on goal just before halftime but a quick reaction from Shuttleworth prevented the Rapids from getting their first of 2015.

After game, Shuttleworth was named as Revolution Santander Man of the Match. The Buffalo native has received a lot of praise this season as he's made several high-quality stops, including one on NYCFC's David Villa in week two that was nominated for Save of the Week. Shuttleworth was ultimately bested by Tyler Deric for the award.

Shuttleworth will have a chance at revenge as Deric is a contender for this week's installment of the accolade. The other nominees include Toronto's Joe Bendik, DC's Bill Hamid, and Orlando's Brek Shea. Those interested in voting can do so here with the winning will be announced on Friday.
