How to Watch: Revolution vs Sounders Live Stream

The New England Revolution open their 2015 slate with a visit to the Seattle Sounders. Find out where you can watch tonight's game.

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

You've wet your soccer appetite with MLS action throughout the weekend, but now it’s time for the main course. The New England Revolution open their 2015 schedule with a visit to CenturyLink Field to face the Seattle Sounders on Sunday for MLS’ opening weekend capper.

The game has been called a preview of this year’s MLS Cup final. Both teams found great success last season with the Revs finishing as league runners-up while the Sounders collected both the US Open Cup and the Supporters Shield.

There have been changes to both squads, however, as Juan Agudelo has returned to New England, likely to regain the position of lone striker. Seattle’s biggest change comes in the form of subtraction as starting right back DeAndre Yedlin is now plying his trade in Europe. Newcomer Tyrone Mears is expected to fill the vacancy with Chad Marshall and Brad Evans partnering in the middle.

This will be the only regular season meeting between the two clubs. Last year, the Revolution won the lone game, a 5-0 trouncing at Gillette Stadium. The Revs are 4-3-2 all-time against Seattle and 1-2-1 at CenturyLink Field.
