Another name has been added to the New England Revolution's injury report, which now stands at four.
The latest addition to the list is Kevin Alston, who was forced to exit early from last Sunday's game against New York City FC with a right hamstring strain. Alston's injury, coupled with Jose Goncalves' suspension after receiving a red card against NYCFC, will test the Revolution's defensive depth. It's likely that Darrius Barnes is inserted for Goncalves while Jeremy Hall substitutes at right back.
Jermaine Jones (left sports hernia surgery), Teal Bunbury (right shoulder sprain), and Donnie Smith (left groin surgery) are all holdovers from last week, though all three have made progress. Smith is currently easing his way back while Jones is expected to arrive in New England soon. Bunbury is also recovering well.
The Montreal Impact have three players listed as goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau (shoulder injury), defender Adrian Lopez (knee injury), and midfielder Justin Mapp (elbow surgery) are all listed as out.
