Approximately one month after traveling to Tucson, AZ to train with the New England Revolution, academy player Justin Rennicks (South Hamilton, Mass.) provided an assist for the U.S. U-16 Boys' National Team.

On Monday, Mar. 15, Rennicks, 15, aided Chris Goslin in the 20th minute to give the US a 1-0 lead over the Netherlands. Though the US would ultimately lose 3-1, the goal (seen 38 seconds into the video) was a beautiful display of teamwork that included a clever give-and-go and smart cross-field movement.

With the loss, the U.S. U-16s finished 0-3 in the 2015 U-16 Netherlands International Tournament. The team recorded a 1-0 loss to the Republic of Ireland on Mar. 11 and a 2-1 loss to Czech Republic on Mar. 13.

Rennicks wasn't the only Revolution academy player to participate in the tournament as Calvin Aroh (Glastonbury, Conn.) and Daniel Jones (West Hartford, Conn.) also saw the field.
