The latest injury report is a mixed bag for New England Revolution fans as one major contributor is no longer listed while another was added. Lee Nguyen's name has been removed from the report after being listed as questionable last week with right groin irritation. Teal Bunbury, however, is now categorized as out with a right shoulder sprain.
The return of Nguyen, who did travel to Seattle but didn't make the game day 18, would certainly be welcomed as the Revs struggled to penetrate last weekend. If Nguyen is deemed ready to start, Kelyn Rowe would likely shift to the wing as a replacement for Bunbury. If coach Jay Heaps takes a more cautious approach to Nguyen, Rowe will likely start in the center with Sean Okoli, Steve Neumann, or Juan Agudelo manning the flank.
The full injury report for the Revolution also includes Jermaine Jones (left sports hernia surgery) and Donnie Smith (left groin surgery). Both of these are long-term injuries.
New York City FC only has one name on their report as goalkeeper Ryan Meara is listed as questionable (left knee meniscectomy).
