On Wednesday, the New England Revolution held their first practice since Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Seattle Sounders and Teal Bunbury, who was injured during the game, wasn't present.
The midfielder departed early from the season opener after landing hard on his right shoulder. The Revs were forced to play the final ten minutes down a man as the team had already used all of their subs.
Revolution staff writer and online host Jeff Lemieux provided the following update from today's practice:
Bunbury (shoulder) not present at training this morning. Heaps asked for an update: "I think there's an injury report coming out." #NERevs

The tweet obviously doesn't provide much insight and the official injury report isn't expected until this weekend. If Bunbury can't play against New York City FC, Kelyn Rowe, Sean Okoli, and Charlie Davies are possible replacements.
Lemieux provided another interesting nugget, saying that Bunbury will be credited with playing 90 minutes on Sunday since an official substitution wasn't made.
One quirk - because #NERevs had no subs remaining, Bunbury credited with a 90-min performance vs. Seattle despite missing final 10 mins.
