The future of the New England Revolution could be set as Charlie Davies has announced that he and his wife are expecting twins. The Davies clan is expected to grow in June 2016, according to an Instagram post by the Revs goal-scorer.
Davies, who is one of the nicest people in American soccer, was inundated with congratulatory messages, including one from Sporting KC midfielder Benny Feilhaber, who predicted that Davies will have twin girls.
Although he didn't send a message online, one man who's likely overjoyed with the news is Davies' father, Kofi. The turbulent relationship between Charlie and Kofi was excellently profiled on For The Win. As part of the interview, Kofi confessed that things might get a little crazy when his son has a kid of his own.
"If Charlie ever has a baby, I’ll be jumping for joy," Kofi told For The Win. "I’ll run bare naked down my street."
Who knows what Kofi has done with the announcement of twins.
