For the third straight week, the New England Revolution will be looking to secure a spot in the 2015 playoffs. This time the team from Foxborough will be facing the Chicago Fire, who currently sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
Saturday's match, which will take place at Toyota Park, looks like a certain Revs win on paper. The Revolution, however, have recorded disappointing results in their last two matches. Meanwhile, the Fire are under new management and will be hoping to gain a few moral victories before the season is over.
The Fire have long been a nuisance for the Revs. The Fire are 21-19-11 against New England and most recently tied them 2-2 at Toyota Park on Jul. 25. After a long history that includes several heated postseason games, it's fitting that the Revs can clinch a playoff spot against the Fire.
