Round 2I Matchup

Chris Tierney Free Kick vs. Columbus Crew /  Nov. 1, 2014

With a 1-0 lead and momentum shifting toward his club, Chris Tierney lined up over a free kick with set-piece master Lee Nguyen. The Revs' crafty wing back ultimately took the first touch, curling a sublime shot over the wall and beyond the outstretched hand of Columbus 'keeper Steve Clark.

Patrick Mullins Rocket vs. Toronto F.C.  /  May 3, 2014

Down 1-0 early in the first half, the Revolution found an equalizer off the foot of Patrick Mullins. The rookie collected a quick touch from Daigo Kobayashi and rocketed a shot inside the near post, opening his MLS scoring account with a screamer past Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
