Sean Okoli is undoubtedly excited about the prospect of joining the New England Revolution.
Okoli's rights were sent to the Revs during the MLS SuperDraft as part of a trade that saw the Seattle Sounders acquire the 33rd overall pick. Okoli, who originally joined the league as a Homegrown Player, had his option declined after a rookie campaign that only included three appearances. Although nothing is official yet, Okolio took to Twitter on Saturday night to express his excitement about potentially moving to the East Coast.
I'm very excited to start the next chapter of my career in New England with the Revolution. It's an honor to be able to get this opportunity

I think this is a great move for me and I'm looking forward to continuing the winning ways in Boston. Ready to get started!! @NERevolution

While he's only played 19 MLS minutes, the 21-year-old Okoli has plenty of upside. The 6'1 forward can play alone up top or in one of the flank positions. If he does sign, Okoli would compete with the likes of Charlie Davies, Teal Bunbuy, and Kelyn Rowe.
