Revolution at Columbus Crew: Lineups and Open Thread

Jermaine Jones will start the game from the bench as the Revs try and win their sixth straight game at Crew Stadium.

New England Revolution head coach Jay Heaps has made two changes to his starting lineup from last week. Jermaine Jones will start on the bench while recovering from a foot contusion, so Scott Caldwell will start in the holding midfield role. Diego Fagundez will start on the wing in place of the suspended Teal Bunbury, who picked up his fifth yellow card of the year against Montreal and will sit one game for accumulation suspension.

REVS LINEUP (4-1-4-1)

Bobby Shuttleworth; Darrius Barnes, Jose Goncalves, A.J. Soares, Andrew Farrell; Scott Caldwell; Diego Fagundez, Lee Nguyen, Daigo Kobayashi, Kelyn Rowe; Charlie Davies

Revs Bench: Brad Knighton, Chris Tierney, Kevin Alston, Jermaine Jones, Steve Neumann, Tony Taylor, Patrick Mullins

CREW LINEUP (4-2-3-1)

Clark; Francis, Wahl, Parkhurst, Gerhig; Trapp, Tchani; Meram, Higuain, Finlay; Schoenfeld

Crew Bench: Lampson, Barson, Anor, Jimenez, George, Arrieta, Gall

It's a pretty straightforward lineup for both teams, and it will be a battle of central playmakers between Lee Nguyen and Columbus Crew star Federico Higuain. Kickoff is coming up so share you thoughts on the lineups and stay with us all game for commentary and analysis
