After battling for come-from-behind victories over Sporting Kansas City and Chicago, the Revolution host a Montreal side that has struggled to put together a string of quality matches. Despite their inconsistency, the Impact managed to take three points from the Revolution in May, using first-half goals from Andres Romero and Jack McInerney to earn a 2-0 victory.
Jay Heaps made three changes to the lineup that defeated Chicago on Sunday, slotting Daigo Kobayashi and Teal Bunbury into the midfield and Charlie Davies into a centre forward role. Chris Tierney will be available on the bench, returning from a left knee injury, while newly-acquired forward Geoffrey Castillion joins the 18 for the first time this season.
