Revs Rumors: More on Jerry Bengtson to Argentine Club Belgrano

There are now two reports linking Revolution and Honduran international striker to a transfer with Argentine club Belgrano, this time, local reporter Frank Dell'Apa is in on the act.

The Jerry Bengtson transfer rumors are getting really hard to ignore now. Especially if Frank Dell'Apa is the one sending them along:

It's worth mentioning that Dell'Apa's article is referencing one of the articles that Corey mentioned in his earlier post today, and that nothing has been confirmed or made official. Through Google translate, this is what Belgrano club president had to say in the link:

Club Atletico Belgrano, nicknamed the Pirates, finished sixth in the first half of the Argentinia Primera Division and 15th in the second half. In the latest relegation table, which combines results from the previous three seasons, Belgrano finished 8th in the cumulative standings.

If Bengtson is indeed sold and announced tomorrow as a new player for Belgrano it would leave the Revs with two open Designated Player spots and four total open roster spots with Andy Dorman on the disabled list.
