The Revolution are north of the border yet again as they take on the Montreal Impact tonight, hoping to extend their unbeaten streak to 8 games and their winning streak to 6. The Impact (1-6-4), who played midweek in the 1st leg of the Canadian Cup Final versus Toronto FC, are perhaps one of the most sputtering teams in MLS currently, especially when you compare them to the red hot Revs (7-3-2). If New England wins tonight, they will be perfect through the month of May and will have picked up all 15 points as teams look towards the upcoming World Cup break in June. No pressure, boys.
The Impact have some notable injuries heading into this match, most of which are defenders. Nelson Rivas, Maxim Tissot, and Matteo Ferrari are all listed as 'Questionable' as is the midfielder and notorious Revs-killer Sanna Nyassi. For the Revs, Shalrie Joseph is 'Out' for this one and Charlie Davies has been listed as 'Questionable'. It will be interesting to see if coach Jay Heaps tinkers with his winning formula now that he has a fully healthy Kevin Alston and Kelyn Rowe at his disposal.
Lineups will be posted below as they are announced, and don't forget to join us in the comments section to discuss the game as it unfolds! Go Revs!
