Revolution vs. Sounders 2014: Lineups and Live Thread

Clint Dempsey returns to Gillette, but the Revolution hope to spoil the homecoming.

USA TODAY Sports

The New England Revolution hope to extend their unbeaten streak to five as they face off against Clint Dempsey and the Seattle Sounders. Rookie Patrick Mullins makes his second consecutive start for the home side and Chris Tierney starts in the place of the injured Kevin Alston. Also of note is Kelyn Rowe on the bench as he looks to make his first appearance since sustaining a hamstring injury. The Revolution bench also includes Jerry Bengtson, who will soon be traveling to Brazil to represent Honduras.
