On Wednesday afternoon, the New England Revolution lost Patrick Mullins and Tony Taylor to New York City FC through the Expansion Draft. Revolution fans took to Twitter to express their mostly negative feelings about the news and to thank the outgoing strikers. Also sharing their reactions were Mullins, Taylor and Steve Neumann.
Taylor retweeted a few news sources before sending the following tweets:
Wish all the best to my teammates, staff and fans @NERevolution. Was a great ride. God bless all of you!

Neumann congratulated fellow rookie Mullins on the move before putting out an ad for a new roommate. Mullins later helped the cause by retweeting Neumann.
Tough to see @p_mullins_7 leave but I know he'll kill it at NYFC. Happy that I'm still a Rev and pumped for next season #NERevs #MLS
