Revolution vs. Red Bulls 2014 MLS Playoffs: Lineups and Live Thread Leg 2

The Revolution are set to face off against the Red Bulls in Foxboro with a 2-1 aggregate lead.

Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

Ninety minutes stand between the New England Revolution and their fifth appearance in the MLS Cup Final. Ninety minutes and the New York Red Bulls, who are still in this contest, despite being down 2-1 on aggregate and facing two away goals.

This won't be easy.

The lineup is mostly predictable, with one significant caveat. Kelyn Rowe, who was shaken up and subbed off last week but did not appear on the injury report, is on the bench, with Kevin Alston slotting in at left-back and Chris Tierney moving up to left midfield. Rowe might still be a little achy, or perhaps Jay Heaps is hoping to use Alston's speed to protect the flanks while keeping Tierney's dangerous set-piece foot on the pitch.
