Revolution vs. Crew 2014: Lineups and Live Thread Part III

The Revolution face the Crew at 7:30 PM in Foxboro on Saturday night.

Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The New England Revolution's fight for the playoffs continues on Saturday night against fellow playoff-hopefuls Columbus Crew. The Crew emerged victorious in the teams' last meeting, a recent clash at Crew Stadium in Ohio, by a score of 1-0. The Revs will hope to change that tonight.

A.J. Soares is back in the lineup after missing a match due to a calf injury, and he pushes Andrew Farrell back to right-back, re-aligning the defense into its first-choice shape and roster. The only other major change is the introduction of Scott Caldwell for Daigo Kobayashi. Caldwell will sit just in front of the back four, giving Jermaine Jones the license to roam forward and create as much as he destroys in midfield.
