It came down to the final day of the season, but the second-seeded New England Revolution now know that they will face the third-seeded Columbus Crew in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The teams will play a two-game, aggregate-goal series to determine who will advance.

Play will begin at Crew Stadium on Saturday, November 1 with a 4 p.m. kickoff. The game will be televised on Comcast SportsNet and nationally on Univision Deportes Network.

The return leg will occur at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, November 9 with a 5 p.m. start time. This game will be broadcasted on ESPN2.

The Crew bested the Revolution in the regular season as they amassed an overall record of 2-1-0. Columbus collected a 2-1 win at Gillette Stadium on July 26 and a 1-0 win at Crew Stadium on September 20 before losing a 2-1 road game to the Revolution on October 4.

The Crew and Revolution enter the playoffs on good form as they both went 10-3-2 to end the season.
