Thursday is an odd match day for the New England Revolution, but regardless they suit up against the Houston Dynamo tonight in Texas. With the Revs already in the playoffs and the Dynamo already out, one could be forgiven for expecting a snooze-fest, but these two teams are heated rivals and fireworks are almost certain.
Head coach Jay Heaps has elected to shuffle his lineup in order to give some of his key players a rest, especially with several carrying knocks. Chris Tierney and Teal Bunbury are out of the 18, presumably to work through their respective injuries, while Jermaine Jones will start from the bench after going 90 minutes for the United States national team just a few days ago. Andy Dorman also makes his first bench appearance in months after recovering from his knee injury.
