The New England Revolution are about to take the field against the Chicago Fire, and head coach Jay Heaps certainly hasn't stood on ceremony when selecting his starting lineup. Star striker Juan Agudelo has returned the starting the lineup, but that's hardly the most shocking decision Heaps made on the evening.
Saer Sene has been relegated to the bench, replaced now by Chad Barrett. Diego Fagundez, meanwhile, returns to the lineup on the right side. In defense, Chris Tierney is back at left back, replacing Kevin Alston, while A.J. Soares starts in central defense over Stephen McCarthy.
Perhaps the most earth-shattering declaration Heaps made was starting Matt Reis over Bobby Shuttleworth. It's unclear whether or not this is due to a minor injury to Shuttleworth or if it's a statement from Heaps.
