The United States face Bosnia-Herzegovina this afternoon in an international friendly. Several young players have a chance to earn debuts or establish themselves as starting options in World Cup Qualifying.
John Anthony Brooks, Bobby Wood, and Aron Johannsson are uncapped in USA play to date, and all three appear in the matchday squad. Brooks is starting and will earn his first cap, while Wood and Johannsson may have opportunities as substitutes. Johannsson's story is particularly compelling, as his one-time switch from Iceland only barely went through quickly enough for him to be eligible for an appearance today.
