The New England Revolution are just about ready to face off against the Colorado Rapids in Commerce City tonight. Head coach Jay Heaps has named an...interesting lineup, presumably to help juggle fatigue with a quick trip to Columbus ahead on the weekend.
The first and most surprising inclusion is probably Jerry Bengtson. Chad Barrett started the last two matches in the place of the injured Juan Agudelo, but tonight Bengtson gets yet another chance to prove that he's good enough to be an MLS striker. The official lineup shows a 4-4-2 with Diego Fagundez partnering Bengtson, but it's likely that the usual 4-1-4-1 will be employed.
Missing from the lineup is the injured Saer Sene as well as Kelyn Rowe. They've been replaced by Juan Toja and Ryan Guy. Darrius Barnes is filling in for Chris Tierney at left back.
