Revolution vs. United 2013: Lineups and Live Game Thread

Revolution head coach Jay Heaps has named his lineup for tonight's match against D.C., and for the first time, it's the same lineup he ran out the week before. Take a look at the players in the XI and on the bench, and join us in the comments for the live thread and discussion.

USA TODAY Sports

New England Revolution head coach Jay Heaps has done something tonight that he hasn't done once in all of the 2013 season: he's elected to run out the same lineup he chose last game. D.C. United will get the same XI that torched Los Angeles 5-0 last week.

It's a curious decision overall. For one, it did seem as though Kelyn Rowe had done enough to earn a starting spot over Juan Toja, but the Colombian remains in the lineup nonetheless. Also, Scott Caldwell is starting again in central midfield, and while he hasn't been poor by any stretch, it makes you wonder what Kalifa Cisse is being paid for.

Anyways, the lineups are below. Check them out, and then chat with us in the comment section!
